Dr. Shashirekha Shetty is an experienced board-certified pediatrician in active practice for the past 20 years. She has been serving in the Nashville area since 2007. Dr. Shetty completed her medical school at the prestigious Mysore Medical College in India. Immediately afterward, Dr. Shetty completed post-graduate studies in child health from the same university.

After moving to the United States, she completed a residency in pediatrics at Albert Einstein College of Medicine (Yeshiva University) in New York. Dr. Shetty also has done a year-long training in neonatology at the University of Tennessee in Memphis, TN. Dr. Shetty has a special interest in Developmental Pediatrics, autism, ADHD, and Obesity/Weight Management.

She enjoys cooking and is passionate about Indian classical music. She currently lives with her husband and two boys.

Michelle Torres is a Board- Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with a specialty in primary care. She was born and raised in Franklin, Tennessee and currently lives with her husband and two big dogs in West Nashville. She graduated in 2016 from the University of Tennessee with Bachelor of Nursing. She worked as a registered nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for 6 years before going back to school for a Masters in Nursing. She graduated in 2022 from Duke University with a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner- Primary Care degree. She has been working PRN at Franklin Pediatric Clinic since May 2023 and loves getting to know each family.
